1. If you really want to glam up, I say, go for smokey eyes and nude lips. That is such a popular makeup routine, and I promise, it can never go wrong on anybody , if done properly. So go ahead apply some dark shadows on your eyes and smudge them to get that smokey effect. Check out the video once its up!
2. Keep your hair straight or curl it into soft waves. I prefer the latter with some volume on the top. 
3. Dazzle up with some Sequined Dresses in Gold or Silver. Nothing can beat a Sequined body-con dress! I am sure your special guy will have all his attention on you. Personally I love Asos.com for Sequined dresses. But, With every extra inch of flab so easily visible in a body-con dress, I agree, it is so hard to pull it off. Go for a body shaper underneath. That would make your body look more toned and not show the panty line.  Team it up with your high heel shoes to give an illusion of long legs. Add some accessories in Gold and you are all set to rock !
